Level 2 Award in Food Safety
The Level 2 Award in Food Safety is nationally recognised and aimed specifically at food handlers. The overall aim is to develop a level of understanding of the basic principles of food hygiene.

All food handlers have a legal responsibility for safeguarding the health of consumers and ensuring the food they serve or sell is perfectly safe to eat.
Course duration: 6 hours minimum
Assessment method: 30 multiple choice questions (1 hour)
QCA Accredited: Yes
Level: New Level 2
The Level 2 Award in Food Safety is held at our CIEH registered training centre: The Vine Community Centre, Hyson Green, Nottingham NG7 5GZ. Free car parking available and good public transport routes.
How will participants learn?
Through a mixture of group discussions, in-class participation and demonstration.
Cost and Payment
The fee is £55.00 per person which includes FREE light refreshments, registration and certification. Payment can be made either by PayPal (below) or by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Healthy Eating Solutions Ltd’ We offer a DISCOUNT for a block booking of 6 participants. We can also facilitate a closed training course for your staff, over two half days or one full day. Please contact us for further information.

The course requires a minimum of 10 participants, with a maximum of 20 participants. Please note that in the unfortunate event that we do not receive sufficient enrolments for the course to go ahead we will contact you 5 days before the start date of the course. If you wish to cancel within 7 days of the course date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
If you fail to attend your course you have booked a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. If the test needs to be re-taken a £20.00 fee is charged.
